During the last week of October in 2006, I was out in Newark, New Jersey on business, and had an opportunity to go over to Manhattan on Wednesday, the 25th, for the afternoon and evening, and Thursday, the 26th, for the evening. Both days, I caught a bus outside my hotel and rode the the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street.
On Wednesday, I walked to Times Square, then down Broadway to 23rd St to see the Flatiron Building. Afterward, I walked up 5th Ave to the Empire State Building, then over to B & H Photo before heading back up to Times Square before catching the bus back to my hotel.
On Thursday evening, I decided to head back over to Manhattan for dinner, so I caught the bus again. I had dinner in a small restaurant on 41st St, then headed over to Times Square again before heading back to my hotel.
